For all those looking to wear a symbol of their allegiance to the dark side, this red kyber crystal pendant is the perfect accessory!
A kyber crystal, simply known as a kyber, also called a lightsaber crystal, the living crystal, and known in ancient times as a kaiburr crystal, was a rare, Force-attuned crystal that grew in nature and was found on scattered planets across the galaxy. They were used by the Jedi and the Sith in the construction of their lightsabers. As part of Jedi training, younglings were sent to the Crystal Cave of the ice planet of Ilum to mine crystals in order to construct their own lightsabers. The crystal’s mix of unique luster was called “the water of the kyber” by the Jedi. There were also larger, rarer crystals of great power and that, according to legends, were used at the heart of ancient superweapons by the Sith
I hand make each of these crystal pendants out of natural quartz stone, which makes them unique, original pieces, with different coloration and effects. Each kyber crystal pendant will have its own personality, with different effects and facets that are characteristic of rough quartz points. Every rough crystal varies in size and shape, and will measure approximately 4-6cm (1.6 to 2.5 inches). I then top each with a red light micro LED.
Twist the top of the stainless steel metal part of the pendant clockwise to turn it on, and counterclockwise to turn it off. Batteries ARE included, and can easily be switched when necessary! Just unscrew the top to open the battery chamber. The batteries i use for them are AG1, and are easy to find and inexpensive.
You can choose to have the kyber on a metal chain or on a braided leather cord by selecting the option from the drop down menu!
